Exotic & cosplay looks in boudoir

You have probably noticed plenty of faceless/fully anonymous xxx, kinky, fetish & even BDSM-tinted images on this page. Gritty, hard & arty (and often black & white). This is indeed something that I enjoy making for small expos.

However sensual, dreamy boudoir mixed with exotic looks and cosplay influences are also possible paths for shoots (and probably even more liked by most models).

Let me showcase some samples from such shoots:

Then there are a few things you should know:


▷ For my portfolio & expos I normally only use images without a visible face unless the model desires to be recognizable (because they're either a model or or they like a bit of fame or they enjoy exhibitionism),

▷ A contract stipulating what can/cannot be done with the images will be drawn,

▷ I don't shoot with "your camera", nor on "your card". I use my own pro-gear that I know by heart and that I also use for my "dayjob shoots" on events or for documentaries,

▷ After a shoot (any shoot or event) I select the images, process them & send the ordered amount (basic = 3-10) to the model via WeTransfer. This is not at the same speed as JPG-shooting amateurs who dump all images directly from memory card to Facebook. Processing takes time and since I shoot stills & videos on a daily basis there is a processing order: 

▷ payed event reports ▷ payed shoots ▷ freelance event reports ▷ other shoots including TFP (= free work when I have a specific idea to add something special to my portfolio or when I meet someone as crazy as myself with ideas that trigger me). So depending on the category you fall into, you'll have to be patient. Normally within 24-48hrs you'll get a 1st sample to tease your eyes,

▷ As a man, I can only focus on 1 thing at a time; so when I'm directing, filming & photographing, my mind is focussed on making art (that is art, not Art and even less ART 😉)

The Left Behind - series

This is one of those series where I spontanously get ideas for during hikes, long walks or even shoots.. and in 99% of those cases I either don't have a model hiding in the backpack or I'm working with a non-BDSM /non-nude model so I can't propose the idea. Hence it's taking me years to get some shots together.  . . The theme of the series is pretty self-explanatory, right? Yes, it's in many senses dehumanising to see both people & objects at the same level.. Some will even complain about the objectification process that speaks from some photos or be shocked about the titles giving more focus to objects than humans. Yes, I'm aware that several people in these photos are out of focus.. and just know that I choose what will be in focus and what not. . This series has it's own album on Flickr . . Candlewax & tattoos (PAIN/PVIN Magazine teaser)

How about some easy reading while you wait for the second lockdown of 2020? Would these subjects & cover stir up your interest.. And still be artful/tasty enough to leave it casually lying on the side table when suspected kinksters are visiting? Yes, we are brainstorming about a new magazine that combines bodyart, kinks, art & BDSM (online + print).  The idea for the magazine is to be non-binary in it's approach. Meaning that it would not be only focussed on straight kinksters, nor only on LGBTQIA+ kinksters. But to show both from their darkest/arty-est/most open side and hopefully be a bridge in between both groups. The question is of course whether there are interested viewers/readers,  models (mf+), photographers, tattoo + other artists, bodypiercers, copywriters and sponsors/advertisers in Belgium to realize a magazine like that. Couloir boudoir

When you think of boudoir photos 90% will be taken either in a bed or a sofa. But honestly: you can make boudoir anyplace. So why not in the hallway? Is it to visible? To dangerous?   I know-I know.. A boudoir is " a woman's bedroom or small private dressing room ". So it makes perfect sense in the literal meaning of classic boudoir photography. But if you think about the idea behind contemporary boudoir photography: showing suggestive, intimate, sensual, romantic, and sometimes erotic images that empower the model and make the models feel conscious, aware, mindful & good about themselves and their bodies. Tape & Ink (PAIN/PVIN Magazine teaser)

Having a holiday during the 2nd lockdown of 2020 was a great opportunity to play a bit around with tape on skin (combining BDSM with Body Art, as we brainstormed about for the PVIN/PAIN magazine). After the pandemic there will be hopefully some more taped images and plenty of tattoo pictures.
