Once in a while somebody spontanously contacts you and says " I'd like to pose for any crazy idea you might have at the moment " and actually show up for the planned meeting. If your plans are for an outdoors shoot always make sure to plan it in a nice place where you can go for a walk if the models don't show up. It'll be a wee bit less frustrating. . Namaste

Exotic & cosplay looks in boudoir

You have probably noticed plenty of faceless/fully anonymous xxx, kinky, fetish & even BDSM-tinted images on this page. Gritty, hard & arty (and often black & white). This is indeed something that I enjoy making for small expos. However sensual, dreamy boudoir mixed with exotic looks and cosplay influences are also possible paths for shoots ( and probably even more liked by most models ). Let me showcase some samples from such shoots: . . . . . . Interested in such a shoot? Then there are a few things you should know: ▷ For my portfolio & expos I normally only use images without a visible face unless the model desires to be recognizable ( because they're either a model, or they like a bit of fame, or they enjoy exhibitionism ), ▷ A contract stipulating what can/cannot be done with the images will be drawn up , ▷ I don't shoot with "your camera", nor on "your card" . I use my own pro-gear that I know by heart and that I also use ...

Event - Fantasy fair photography etiquette

This was the reaction of the barbarian faun to the notification that Castlefest 2021 has been cancelled. We can only hope the best for Elftopia, now that Trolls-et-Legendes has postponed it's fair to 2022.  Actually.. such events have been so long that I don't even remember which kind words I should use to convince the beautifully costumed creatures from the fantasy fairs into posing for my camera. Should I Zoom or Facetime them? " Hi you on the other side of the path.. would you mind if I took a picture of your gorgeous creation? " My fear is that I'm not the only one with these questions rushing through the head and while I will try to talk to the costumed humans, some other photographers might resort to sniping from afar with 200mm to 600mm telelenses and refuel that silly <Cosplayer/Photog> feud because some not-cleary-thinking photogs caught some cosplayers unaware .. or even worse: snapped them while taking a huge bite of a sandwich. I need to do more boudoir

Truth or Dare? Allow me to choose Truth for once: I should make wày more boudoir, bodyscape, nude art & fetish art pictures than I'm doing right now. I've made some of those during the lockdowns ( Alas I only publicly post pictures that were made for expos & anonymous samples allowed for portfolio useage ) but now work, events & fairs are keeping me so busy I hardly have any time left. And in all genres ( especially for boudoir and duo-boudoir ) I feel like there's soooo much more to try. Soon we'll see how we can create more time to turn some ideas into images. Give a howl if you're interested in a shoot ( solo or together with your [ play ] partner ) of which ( anonymous ) pictures can be used for expos & portfolio and you don't need the shoot to be planned " Today or tomorrow at the latest " 😜 Originally posted on Flickr

Bodyscape - Caged heat

Chances are you know this elegant young lady's face from several TikTok lipsyncs since she's got quite a following. At one point she was gesting with my girlfriend that she wouldn't mind having an anonymous portrait of her hidden treasure. " Let's do it know, " I answered thinking it was a joke and 20 minutes of ping-pong'ing some ideas back-and forth later she crossed the border for a quick bodyscape picture called " Caged heat ". Everybody should be more Body Positive and sharing. So many people seem to be afraid or ashamed of their own naked body. Such a waste. Ear torture

Why not make some BDSM-tinted images with a macro lens, I mused? Why not make a series of images about a completely overlooked spot of the human body? One that begs to be tortured. One that is often tortured. But one that is so little featured in SM-tinted shoots. So I combined both ideas..   More on Flickr as always.
