Freehand Bodypainting

Somewhere around the change of millennia I experimented a bit with something I called Freehand bodypainting. Something like very wild Cobra Art on a living & breathing canvas. No brushes & with paint that is suited for children.  Using the bodies of men & women alike to cover in layers of paint and then see it dry, flake and drop.. all of it to get a shot.

At one point we were even invited to do a weekend of live performances of it in a former chapel during an event of the city of Antwerp. Some visitors were surely choqued since the other performance at this venue was a classical musician.

Waiting at the Gate

Once in a while somebody spontanously contacts you and says " I'd like to pose for any crazy idea you might have at the moment " and actually show up for the planned meeting. If your plans are for an outdoors shoot always make sure to plan it in a nice place where you can go for a walk if the models don't show up. It'll be a wee bit less frustrating. . Namaste

Exotic & cosplay looks in boudoir

You have probably noticed plenty of faceless/fully anonymous xxx, kinky, fetish & even BDSM-tinted images on this page. Gritty, hard & arty (and often black & white). This is indeed something that I enjoy making for small expos. However sensual, dreamy boudoir mixed with exotic looks and cosplay influences are also possible paths for shoots ( and probably even more liked by most models ). Let me showcase some samples from such shoots: . . . . . . Interested in such a shoot? Then there are a few things you should know: ▷ For my portfolio & expos I normally only use images without a visible face unless the model desires to be recognizable ( because they're either a model or or they like a bit of fame or they enjoy exhibitionism ), ▷ A contract stipulating what can/cannot be done with the images will be drawn , ▷ I don't shoot with "your camera", nor on "your card" . No fancy words, just the essence of feminine power over men. A good friend of my girlfriend asked me to photograph her breasts. When people (m/f/x) feel comfortable showing their body, then I feel comfortable shooting their body. So there it is. You found this on Flickr because Instagram & Facebook would scrupulously censor it.

The Left Behind - series

This is one of those series where I spontanously get ideas for during hikes, long walks or even shoots.. and in 99% of those cases I either don't have a model hiding in the backpack or I'm working with a non-BDSM /non-nude model so I can't propose the idea. Hence it's taking me years to get some shots together.  . . The theme of the series is pretty self-explanatory, right? Yes, it's in many senses dehumanising to see both people & objects at the same level.. Some will even complain about the objectification process that speaks from some photos or be shocked about the titles giving more focus to objects than humans. Yes, I'm aware that several people in these photos are out of focus.. and just know that I choose what will be in focus and what not. . This series has it's own album on Flickr . . Candlewax & tattoos (PAIN/PVIN Magazine teaser)

How about some easy reading while you wait for the second lockdown of 2020? Would these subjects & cover stir up your interest.. And still be artful/tasty enough to leave it casually lying on the side table when suspected kinksters are visiting? Yes, we are brainstorming about a new magazine that combines bodyart, kinks, art & BDSM (online + print).  The idea for the magazine is to be non-binary in it's approach. Meaning that it would not be only focussed on straight kinksters, nor only on LGBTQIA+ kinksters. But to show both from their darkest/arty-est/most open side and hopefully be a bridge in between both groups. The question is of course whether there are interested viewers/readers,  models (mf+), photographers, tattoo + other artists, bodypiercers, copywriters and sponsors/advertisers in Belgium to realize a magazine like that.
