Why not make some BDSM-tinted images with a macro lens, I mused? Why not make a series of images about a completely overlooked spot of the human body? One that begs to be tortured. How about some easy reading while you wait for the second lockdown of 2020? Would these subjects & cover stir up your interest.. And still be artful/tasty enough to leave it casually lying on the side table when suspected kinksters are visiting? Yes, we are brainstorming about a new magazine that combines bodyart, kinks, art & BDSM (online + print).  The idea for the magazine is to be non-binary in it's approach. Meaning that it would not be only focussed on straight kinksters, nor only on LGBTQIA+ kinksters. But to show both from their darkest/arty-est/most open side and hopefully be a bridge in between both groups. The question is of course whether there are interested viewers/readers,  models (mf+), photographers, tattoo + other artists, bodypiercers, copywriters and sponsors/advertisers in Belgium to realize a magazine like that. When people (m/f/x) feel comfortable showing their body, then I feel comfortable shooting their body. So there it is. Event - Fantasy fair photography etiquette

This was the reaction of the barbarian faun to the notification that Castlefest 2021 has been cancelled. We can only hope the best for Elftopia, now that Trolls-et-Legendes has postponed it's fair to 2022.  Actually.. such events have been so long that I don't even remember which kind words I should use to convince the beautifully costumed creatures from the fantasy fairs into posing for my camera. Should I Zoom or Facetime them? " Hi you on the other side of the path.. would you mind if I took a picture of your gorgeous creation? " My fear is that I'm not the only one with these questions rushing through the head and while I will try to talk to the costumed humans, some other photographers might resort to sniping from afar with 200mm to 600mm telelenses and refuel that silly <Cosplayer/Photog> feud because some not-cleary-thinking photogs caught some cosplayers unaware .. or even worse: snapped them while taking a huge bite of a sandwich. Waiting at the Gate

Once in a while somebody spontanously contacts you and says " I'd like to pose for any crazy idea you might have at the moment " and actually show up for the planned meeting. If your plans are for an outdoors shoot always make sure to plan it in a nice place where you can go for a walk if the models don't show up. It'll be a wee bit less frustrating. . Namaste

I need to do more boudoir

Truth or Dare? Allow me to choose Truth for once: I should make wày more boudoir, bodyscape, nude art & fetish art pictures than I'm doing right now. I've made some of those during the lockdowns ( Alas I only publicly post pictures that were made for expos & anonymous samples allowed for portfolio useage ) but now work, events & fairs are keeping me so busy I hardly have any time left. And in all genres ( especially for boudoir and duo-boudoir ) I feel like there's soooo much more to try. Soon we'll see how we can create more time to turn some ideas into images. Give a howl if you're interested in a shoot ( solo or together with your [ play ] partner ) of which ( anonymous ) pictures can be used for expos & portfolio and you don't need the shoot to be planned " Today or tomorrow at the latest " 😜 Originally posted on Flickr

Freedom means having the choice

A slave chooses to submit to a dom/me of their choice. That is a slave's prerogative. You must not force this primary choice upon them.. once they submit and hand themselves over it becomes a different story .. until the slave chooses to use the safe word. The same goes for life in this big & beautiful world. Everybody has the right to make a choice. And I accept their choices as long as their choices      * do not endanger/hurt, the Planet, the animals, my few loved ones or myself,      * do not limit or inhibit my right and ability to make my own choices,     * and they bear the consequences of their own choices without drama.
