Once in a while somebody spontanously contacts you and says " I'd like to pose for any crazy idea you might have at the moment " and actually show up for the planned meeting. If your plans are for an outdoors shoot always make sure to plan it in a nice place where you can go for a walk if the models don't show up. It'll be a wee bit less frustrating. . Namaste

This is one of those series where I spontanously get ideas for during hikes, long walks or even shoots.. and in 99% of those cases I either don't have a model hiding in the backpack or I'm working with a non-BDSM /non-nude model so I can't propose the idea. Hence it's taking me years to get some shots together.  . . The theme of the series is pretty self-explanatory, right? Yes, it's in many senses dehumanising to see both people & objects at the same level.. Some will even complain about the objectification process that speaks from some photos or be shocked about the titles giving more focus to objects than humans. Yes, I'm aware that several people in these photos are out of focus.. and just know that I choose what will be in focus and what not. . This series has it's own album on Flickr . . Chances are you know this elegant young lady's face from several TikTok lipsyncs since she's got quite a following. At one point she was gesting with my girlfriend that she wouldn't mind having an anonymous portrait of her hidden treasure. " Let's do it know, " I answered thinking it was a joke and 20 minutes of ping-pong'ing some ideas back-and forth later she crossed the border for a quick bodyscape picture called " Caged heat ". Everybody should be more Body Positive and sharing. So many people seem to be afraid or ashamed of their own naked body. Such a waste. When you think of boudoir photos 90% will be taken either in a bed or a sofa. But honestly: you can make boudoir anyplace. So why not in the hallway? Is it to visible? To dangerous?   I know-I know.. A boudoir is " a woman's bedroom or small private dressing room ". So it makes perfect sense in the literal meaning of classic boudoir photography. But if you think about the idea behind contemporary boudoir photography: showing suggestive, intimate, sensual, romantic, and sometimes erotic images that empower the model and make the models feel conscious, aware, mindful & good about themselves and their bodies. When the temperatures allow it, urbex locations are great fun with models. Sadly enough so many urbex locations in my region are disappearing. Hence it's a constant search for new spots without security, tourists or hazardous materials so a fearless model can safely pose amongst the decay. Truth or Dare? Allow me to choose Truth for once: I should make wày more boudoir, bodyscape, nude art & fetish art pictures than I'm doing right now. I've made some of those during the lockdowns ( Alas I only publicly post pictures that were made for expos & anonymous samples allowed for portfolio useage ) but now work, events & fairs are keeping me so busy I hardly have any time left. And in all genres ( especially for boudoir and duo-boudoir ) I feel like there's soooo much more to try. Soon we'll see how we can create more time to turn some ideas into images. For a few days humans welcome all creatures from the Darkseid.. these last decades this welcome has become a purely commercial event as have all celebrations. In Belgium there were very few let's-shoot-outdoors-in-the-sun-and-warmth -days this Summer. But when there was one outside the working moments we had to go and shoot. This series was made in the maize or corn fields near my place. And I should make some rear-side pictures. This was the reaction of the barbarian faun to the notification that Castlefest 2021 has been cancelled. We can only hope the best for Elftopia, now that Trolls-et-Legendes has postponed it's fair to 2022.  Actually.. such events have been so long that I don't even remember which kind words I should use to convince the beautifully costumed creatures from the fantasy fairs into posing for my camera. Should I Zoom or Facetime them? " Hi you on the other side of the path.. would you mind if I took a picture of your gorgeous creation? " My fear is that I'm not the only one with these questions rushing through the head and while I will try to talk to the costumed humans, some other photographers might resort to sniping from afar with 200mm to 600mm telelenses and refuel that silly <Cosplayer/Photog> feud because some not-cleary-thinking photogs caught some cosplayers unaware .. or even worse: snapped them while taking a huge bite of a sandwich. No fancy words, just the essence of feminine power over men. A good friend of my girlfriend asked me to photograph her breasts. When people (m/f/x) feel comfortable showing their body, then I feel comfortable shooting their body. So there it is. Why not make some BDSM-tinted images with a macro lens, I mused? Why not make a series of images about a completely overlooked spot of the human body? One that begs to be tortured. We wish you a very Apocalyptic 2021! Before you whimper and whine because you couldn't party on New Year’s Eve or celebrate it with friends & family: think of all the elderly, the poor, the sick, the homeless and the disabled people who spend EVERY NYE all alone. Think of all those people who work every time while you celebrate. For you it was 1 year of abstinence, for them a lifetime.
